What is Rebuilding Together Omaha?

We are an affiliate to the nation-wide organization of Rebuilding Together. The mission of Rebuilding Together is to keep low-income elderly and low-income disabled homeowners warm, safe, dry and independent in their own homes.

Since our establishment in Omaha, Rebuilding Together has helped to renovate over 706 homes in the community. The majority of the low-income homeowners we serve are elderly or disabled individuals or residents who are physically and financially unable to maintain safe and warm living conditions for themselves and their families.

Each spring during our Rebuilding "blitz" days, we gather donated materials and rally hundreds of volunteers to help repair and rehabilitate homes providing both major and minor repairs and renovations that result in life-changing improvements for the homeowners served. Learn more about the work that has been accomplished through the generous help provided by Rebuilding Together Omaha sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
