Rebuilding Together Omaha depends on support and involvement from our community. We believe helping neighbors is what makes our community strong. We are entirely supported by donations from individuals, corporations, faith communities, organizations, and grants. Our rebuilding work is made possible by the scores of community volunteers who participate in our program. Rebuilding Day is scheduled for Saturday April 26, 2008!

Volunteer!
Much of our work is done to rehabilitate and revitalize our community by volunteers.  We need volunteers of all skill levels that want to make a difference in our community and on peoples lives. There are two types of volunteers that help with Rebuilding Together Omaha and always need both of them:

Please note:  We have found that some older versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer do not work to forward "Sign-up" information.  The Browser Mozilla Firefox works very well.

Rebuilding Day Team
Our "teams" of volunteers are the life blood of our program. Teams are formed with a group or an organization that wish to help revitalize peoples homes in the community. A captain and co-captain lead volunteers and skilled trade professionals in the efforts of rehabilitating a home in need of repairs.
Rebuilding Day Volunteers

Much of our rebuilding work is done by volunteers with no specific skills, but with a willingness to learn! Volunteer your time and really make a difference!

Rebuilding Day Skilled Trade Volunteers
We have a great need for volunteers skilled in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical and other trades. If you are an accomplished 'do-it-yourselfer' or professional trades person, become a Rebuilding Day Skilled Volunteer!
